I'd be interested in a track day. I missed the last one at Sears Point because it was scheduled the same weekend as the Rallyschool/Rallycross at Thunderhill.
I think I'd prefer Sears Point. I go to Thunderhill pretty regularly (got a track day there this weekend in fact), but I haven't seen the rearranged Sears Point at all. Buttonwillow is pretty far. Laguna Seca would be cool too, but it's pretty expensive.
If enough people are interested, you can probably get some sponsorship from Subaru of Santa Cruz.

Thunder Hill is AWESOME!!!! If you go off the track....you go into the dirt. There is a wall only on the front and rear straights....It's VERY safe and fun.

I've driven in a NASA track day at Sears and SCCA day at Thunderhill. To echo other comments. the NASA one was way to crowded and not well marshalled (too many ya-hoos). The SCCA day was very well run, and the track is much more car-friendly with few walls.
I know T-Hill is a haul, but damn, it's worth it!
I'd be all over this!!
