I work for a shop in Union City that installs leather seating, sun/moon roofs, video systems, and other non performance items.(touring packages, seat heaters, etc)

Was just curious to see if there was some interest in these things, or do most ppl just care about the go fast stuff.

Just for kicks; how much is it for a sunroof installation on an 02 WRX?

 

Full feature roofs run $900-1200ish depending on car type. WRXs are about $950 I believe. Leather installed starts around $800, and can go up to a few K if your wanting alot of custom design. Video systems are the same, I've done anything from $400 single screens to drug dealer Escaldes with TVs almost as big as the rims.

I'm just trying to gauge ppl interest in this stuff, see if its worth it to be a vendor here.

Can you guys do a VGA touchscreen LCD monitor in the radio location?

Can you custom in vibrating seats, you know, for the ladies?

 

I already have that... it's called the factory installed sub under the passenger seat.

wonder how much weight a sunroof adds...i miss it from my rsx

 

You gain a few lbs. but not as much as other cars, since you're removing the heavy *** Subaru roof bows.

Going to install demo roof/leather in mine soon, so if ppl wanna check it out before they decide.

 

Out of curiosity, how much would it be to turn my 00 RS' sunroof into a moonroof? Always wanted to have a little extra light without all the dust and crap getting blown into the car.

 

Too much since you'd probaly have to replace the roof skin.
