I need some help.

I got a mattjk screen and an alpine 7987. I need to put them in.

I would also like to run the wires for my amp and ps2 along with it.

Anyone want to help me out? Beer/food on me.

Also...is the 03 bezel different than the 04?

Could be in a bind if so.

hey man i'll help u do it. i can install the deck and run the amp wires for you for free. i dont drink beer, but i'll take the food. Instead of beer, how bout u come to my house adn we'll do it there =P

I am planning on picking up a guage bezel this weekend. Besidest that I am pretty sure I have everything...but we all know how that goes.....

in the middle of an install....ah hell where's that damn hose at. crap where's that stupid bolt.

 

hrm oneman, if u live in union city/fremont, i'd be willing to drive out to there, i just dont like driving to S.F.


here's what i know u need of the top of my head:
1 wire harness
2 din pocker (assuming you have a 1 din cd player in replace of the stock double
3 then u have the amp kit to run the wires.
4 the subaru gauge pocket to hold your cd player
5 to have the ps2 in your car, u would either need a car-kit or a inverter to power the ps2



btw, does your cd player have a aux-in for sound input from ps2?

I have the inverter.
It does have the aux input for sound. It's an alpine 7987.

I have a wiring kit. A good one. Will be long enough to get it under the seat...not to the back of the car though...was a kit for my civic.

have the wiring harness.

getting the guage pod. it has to be dremeled to fit the deck and so the face can come out...it's a phantom face. Scoobydoobydoo has offered to dremel it for me if I need him too.

one man army remember that you must put the 7997 on the bottom DIN spot or it gets stuck on the cup holder even when it is closed....

it's going in the guage pod on the dash.

The pod does have to be dremeled a wee big to allow for the swing open motion.
