I saw that there was a Fairfield meet on the same weekend that Im trying to have a Lake County meet. So I dont really know what to do here. I probably wont get a good turnout if I have it the same day as Fairfield, so I should pick a different date for the LC meet.
How about this:
Install fest 21st and Lake County meet on the 22nd

I drove from the town next to Santa Rosa all the way down to Fremont to work on an install day. While I was busy helping out with the main install of the day, I wasn't worried about how far I had driven. It was fun helping out with the install day. It was a tank of gas, and toll money, but the good time I had was worth it. I didn't get any of my stuff done, but oh well...
But you can't be bothered to drive a little once in a while??

It is a drive, but at the moment, there isn't anybody else that has been kind enough to offer to host. I am sure the drive isn't too bad for most Northbay people. For me... it'll be a two hour drive from Davis. Most likely will carpool with one of the Davis peeps.

We kind of need input from everyone.
Are there any people who would want to participate in the Install Fest at Nomex Ninja's place?
And for all you people who say it is too far... is there anybody located in the bay that would consider hosting an Install Fest?

Add me to the list of people willing to participate. Also willing to meet up with people to carpool since not everyone seems to want to drive. Its a nice drive, really.
I wish I could host too, but I just don't have the space. Or a lift
Maybe start a list? Copy and paste if you can go

Good post, Roo.
Nomex, how big is your shop? Big enough to have multiple cars in at once? You probably have a full compliment of tools, but is there anything specific you would need brought?
It's probably prudent to put down what (if anything) you're going to want installed.
It's possible that I may be out of town that weekend, but I will definitely drive up if I am not.
For me, nothing for sure yet...but here are a list of possible installs I could have by then (all bolt ons, should be easy):
1. Heli-coil kit in seat mount
2. Rear sway and endlinks
3. CF trunk
4. all of the above

CF trunk should be easy. That's like 4 bolts and connectors for the brakelight right? RSB and endlinks isn't bad either. Yeah.

I do not have a lift, but I have a really nice floor jack
, and Im kind of short on jackstands at the moment.I have a full compliment of tools (I think), but pretty much only one set of everything. Basically, if you are going to need a little torque wrench, or a puller of some sort, you will need to bring it. I should have the rest. The stuff mentioned above is no prob. Oh, I dont have a tap/die set yet either. Thats all that comes to mind.
