CRAP!! I hella posted in the wrong place. Mods... please move this. I totally blanked out when I posted this. Please move to Bay Area forum.
Hey all.
We've thrown around the topic of an install fest a little bit, but so far, we haven't been able to do much. So, I'll list a few things that I think will be important for a successful install fest.
Things to take into consideration:
1. When?
2. Where?
Where is probably the most important thing. I wouldn't mind hosting an install fest in my driveway, but the driveway itself is only big enough to host 3, maybe 4 cars at most. Shade is always helpful.
3. What to install?
I think that we should keep the installs fairly easy. Maybe after we get the hang of things, we can start to do some more difficult stuff. That way everyone that comes will be able to have their stuff installed.
4. Who has tools and who is willing to bring them?
5. Any experienced people willing to give a hand?
Help from people who have done the installs before will definitely make things go faster.
6. Food and drinks are a must. I think people that are having parts installed should bring some type of food item as a thank you for those who come out and help them install stuff. Pretty much anything. Nacho's, chips, salsa, pizza, Costco hot dog's, etc.
Let me know what you guys think.

2. How about a local, smaller shop like GB, AHQ, MPJ, or the upcoming EQtuning/Crucial
3. Anything bolt-on can be done in a day.... FMIC - eh that's kinda cutting it but I guess I'd be willing to help w/ an fmic install if we started early morning
4. Everyone should have tools - how are you gonna fix your modified car when something falls off?

5. Again have people RSVP as to what kinds of installs they can help with.
6. The people who need help installing things should be in charge of bringing food, for the members who are primarily helping others do installs.

I would say the best place to have this install fest would be in Treasure Island. No hassles from anyone and a wide open space. Plus I need help with the up-pipe as well on my 04 wrx and downpipe!

I guess we could do that. I figure we could set up canopies and stuff. I have a set of endlinks. I just need to get my hands on a rear sway bar and yeah. Probably won't be able to do that until after I pay tuition and for text books.
