I think it would probably depend on the amount of people that would like to have pics taken. Maybe you or OMA should post a poll to get a rough idea on how many people would be interested

So I have a photographer lined up and is willing do donate any proceeds he makes towards the charity. Check him out on Facebook at limestand he takes awesome pics for stance nation etc. he would like to know the dates so he can plan accordingly

How so?

 

Dates are not set yet but it will be in late august/early sept as usual. I want to have enough space between the other 2 big events so folks can afford to go. I know I can afford to drive to LA for an event then drive to another event in the same month.


As for the photographer. I'll check him out and talk to him as well as a few others. As of now, I'm going to give the first shot to Matt Basile if he wants it. He's been a supporter of the event for a while now and I'd like for him to have the opportunity to say yes or no.

I figure he can have time blocks for shooting cars and then a time block for walking around and taking shots of the event. Then some down time slots so he can actually enjoy himself. Might need a couple photographers.

I want to get some official photos going so they can be used for hyping up future events and possibly getting some press.

Second, he doesn't shoot for Stance Nation...in fact he burned the owner of Stance Nation....

I would be more than happy to shoot pictures of everyone's car in attendance...for free...I would like a sweatshirt and food and thats it. Some pictures from last year's BAM

I'm going to talk to Matt about it and see if we can get a crew together. You and I can meet up sometime in the next few weeks to talk shop as well.

Going to talk to Wheeldude about who does there photos as well. Would be nice if we could get some lights up and do something legit.

 

I'm gonna have to look in to it myself. That's 2 people in less than an hour questioning them. Gotta do my due process.

I spoke to Wheel dude at their grand opening, Limestand used to shoot for them however no longer does yet left with no negative results.

So as someone who's new to the bay area (moved up about 2 years?) I've been to Subiefest a few times and went to BAM last year. I think BAM needs a bit more centralized marketing, it was hard to keep track and find one place where I can see where it was, when it was, what was going to be there, etc. etc.

and the other two have much more vendor support (like free t-shirts), maybe converting more of the raffle item goodies (which were pretty solid last year) to things like shirts and other freebies to get more people in the door?

Just my 2 cents.
