I just pre-ordered Battle 7 for $14.00 from Overstock.com shipped if anyone was interested. I just finished watching Battle 6. Should I go ahead and watch stage 4 after watching Battle 6 or would it ruin anything? Just curious.

 

I see I misunderstood what you mean ... I just didn't think anyone was actually waiting for the FD vs integra battle, given how ep 4 ended. (which you can basically deduce that they're not going to show it to you)

BTW, how is skipping a race 'milking the franchaise'? If they want to milk it, they'll make every battle 6 episodes long like dumb *** Dragon Ball ...

Not directly milking it through the 4th stage, but as a spin-off series, like they did with Impact Blue, the Girls from Usui in the Sil-eighty.

Sure, they made that extra stage OVA an original story. If the current production team for 4th stage keeps this current track record, they could easily phase out Keisuke's part in the next major battle coming up. Put his whole little experience into a nice lil OVA along with all the races they've skipped thus far and bam, more suckers like me will buy into it. *Points at Battle Stage* There's a nice example of milking right there. Sure, the CGs are a lot nicer this time around compared to the originals, but do we really need a seperate OVA for retouched battles we've already seen and recycled cel animation?

Like I said earlier, the past two battles they skipped weren't involved, important or exactly pivotal plot points, but if they do indeed skip his next major battle, then yeah, it's gonna raise my suspicions

Anyways, next batch of eps air Oct. 16. Itsuki's 85 is gonna be fast4r y0 >_>

Seems like a group's gone back to sub the DVD version of ep 1 & 2 for some reason ... doesn't look all that much better to me. I haven't check if there are new scenes or something
