I think he should be running faster times than 12.7s if he has a built gt35r..I ran a 12.8 with a 1.8 60 ft...with a stock internals 2.0l wrx with an 18g and meth injection

 

i agree...dude was literally just easin it down the track at 12.7...hes probably not tryin to put a cage in his ish!

it was a real clean set-up tho...i have a pic of the e.bay but i suck at posting pics. he said he made 470whp on a hydraEMS tuned by mike @ GST.

 

is the tranny really that week ive ran my car a bunch of times and all ive done is burnt the clutch a few times launching hard

yeah these 5spds suck

 

^ the 5spd does not suck it is the people that can't drive the 5spd! have had over 330whp for a year and had no problems. If you drive good the 5spd can hold alot power.

 

i have 105k miles of rallying... i drive my car hard, but rightly hard.. not slamming gears, not dropping the clutch.. its all about shifting smooth and waiting.. u can go through the gears plenty fast with waiting for them to go into place... i ran a 13.8sec at 98mph quarter with a 1.8 60ft on my protuned with DbTuned. up pipe, turbo back, intercooler hoses..

just treat the 5 spd correctly and she will treat u right also..

 

haha well maybe your 5spds werent as ****ty when you got your car...

i cant shift into fourth without grinding under acceleration...
