especially with their prosposed Hybrid model. thats no cheap tech or manufacturing, even with the so called weak Yen. IMO.

They have no choice but to release a hybrid or full electric though. Article said they need something super fuel efficient in order to meet US regulations by 2016.

That's a damn good idea. It could be a similar platform and set up to the fiat500.

Make the new one AWD, offer it with a little 3cyl turbocharged 1.3 or 1.5 in it, offer it in stick...I would drive the **** out of one.

want, want, want! do you know how much stupid power, I mean flat out stupid power, you could make with something like that.

Think on it, tune the crap out of it, push propane injection, throw on a huge turbo to pump air into it in volume, 220hp 600lb torque anyone?
