This guy I knew that worked security in S.F. had S.F.P.D. friends that would let him sit in thier cars...you know just kick'n it and shoot'n the sh*t. Well, while he sat there he'd key in the license plates of hot chicks that he saw throughout the day driving by. Get thier home address's and then phone numbers...TOTAL STALKER.

I'd like to see you guys posting your plate numbers post your home address's and phone numbers as well....kind of makes you think huh???

Don't post a fake address now,...come on, put your real address up there. Cause I know there are a few guys on this board that could get all your in info, in a matter of minutes, with just those plate numbers you put up....good thing they arn't stalkers though right?

and they would be in DIRECT violation of hteir duties and obligations as a LEO, they could face criminal charges and go to jail if they abused their powers, sorry you know so manys hadey cops it might be the people you hang out with.

I for know several cops, all of which DO NOT ABUSE THEIR POWERS.

whts the difference if you see it driving on the road? there isnt one. its a license plate the only people that can find out about them are cops or friends of cops, and they dont usually steal things from cars.

You miss read...it wasn't the cops doing it...it was a security guy I knew doing it...
But thanks for assuming that I hang out with shadey people (sarcasm) considering I never said I socialized with the guy...just said I knew him. The people I hang out with are wonderful.

The majority of cops don't abuse their powers and don't violate their duties, I'm sure we both agree on that. However, you have to admit there are a few bad apples in every bunch. Especially in a dpt. like S.F.P.D. or one of simular size. Just for the record I'm pro cop.

That's all I meant though...you also have to admit, you'd feel a little vulnerable posting your home address all over the internet...right? I mean even though people see you coming and going from your house all the time,...you'd still feel a little funny posting your address on internet forums that thousands of people read...

Correct me if I'm wrong...

yeah...that might be true, BUT...the way you made it sound, is that the cops knew he was doing this and did nothing about it. Did they leave him in the car alone?? dout it.

thats where you gave the impression that they were shadey cops.
