It is fast though. I drove one and they are quick.

Plus there is a car and driver that says the 09 wrx is faster than 02-07 stock sti

In the 0-60 due to different gear ratios. Although the quarter, I think the '09 WRX is only .1 second off

IMHO, with the '09 hatch getting all the nice looking aesthetic pieces that the STi has, it's not worth getting a '09 STi unless you're planning to make gobs of power and need the STi tranny.

I partially agree....Although I think the large fenders of the STI do alot to increase it's agressive look.

The 6 speed is nice though. I am scared to make my car big power because of the 5 speed.

Can't please them all. Simply put, this car isn't for you. Remember when the bug eyes came out? Every redesign, someone is unhappy. Even with the pig nose / hawk eye, people hated it, now it's a favorite.
