I suggest you do alot of research before you start modding your new car and not just take any of our words for it. modding your car to this level will cost you a pretty penny. and things will break or wear faster. go talk to the guys at ispeed or mpj.

your q's:
turbos - depends on what you want to do with your car.
pipes- get an uppipe and turboback (dp should be at least bellmouth)
manifold - nice but not necessary can do later
fuel - you will need more than just injectors. CC - cubic cm.
anything else - lots, more fuel, clutch, ecu tuned, gauges, etc.

Best advice: Read for the next 3 months... and come to meets and talk to people. Ask them what they did, what they tried, didn't like... etc

Personally, i don't think you are ready to mod your car yet. There is a ton of things you need to know. and of all the things you've listed, anyone here could write a book about trying to lay out your options!

So, come to a meet. Krespy Kreme on tuesday nights is a good one, as it tends to be the biggest of the weekly meet. It's in Union City, at 8pm.

But you have that itch to mod your car already, i would suggest getting a Helix flex uppipe, and helix downpipe, catback exhaust.

Don't do the turbo and injectors and the such until you have a really good grasp of what you are dealing with.

Another thing that you can do before buying all of those parts is to look at what the popular Stage Kits are from various tuners. Cobb Tuning, Vishnu Performance, and Prodrive kits come to mind. Sometimes there are common components among the various kits at similar power levels.

vf34 does not add 375 hp to a wrx. It is just one of the elements that can help gaining major hp.

but lets be honest here.. seems and sounds like this is your first AWD car. I think learning how to properly control an AWD car is the most essential. Once you get an idea of how AWD cars behave, then comes to upgrading tires, suspension, and brakes. Then you go for power.

Power is nothing without control.

I agree with most of the above with the exception of the cookie cutter stage kits but that is just me personally.

To answer you somewhat directly.

VF34 = good for about 280whp (dyno dependant) with a decent tune and supporting mods.

The Helix up and downpipe combo is an excellent combo for the money, stay away from the HKS downpipe!

Headers = Not needed

PE injectors are not required for your setup so I would save the money as you will need a fuel pump anyway!

You will need either engine management or a ECU reflash, I would assume you don't plan on tuning the car much yourself so would advise you have a reflash, there are a couple of local vendors that offer this service and I am sure others would be happy to jump in here and suggest where to go.

Something to think about other than adding a catback is how you put this power to the ground and some other supporting mods in the following catogories,

Brakes
Suspension

As if you go faster you may want to improve your stopping power somewhat. If you turn corners a lot some suspension mods will certainly make your car overall faster.

Hope this makes sense (I'm on 3 hours of sleep after way too much beer and now my 9th cup of coffee while doing inventory for end of year!)

since you dont want to blow your engine up, i would definatley suguest having a professional tuner tune your car. vishnu, and i-speed are both local tuners who could help you out. like mpj mike said, the helix up and down pipes are great for the money. depending on your mileage, i would wait a while on mods.

the "cc" rating is a flow rating on the injectors. sos a 650cc injector will squirt more fuel then a 565cc.

I am a strong believer in Subarureview.com and searching the net. Not all the information is true but if you hear the same results over and over you know what to do. Good luck

Even though I don't have a WRX this is the order I would mod if I had one:

Remove intake silencer
K&N filter
Turbo timer and various gauges
17'' wheels / new tires
Upgraded brake lines / pads
Short throw shifter
Lightweight flywheel and aftermarket clutch
Adj. rear swaybar
Strut braces
IC hoses
Exhaust
Up & down pipes + ECU reflash
Coilovers

Then later down the line I'd get the bigger turbo, larger injectors ect...

My opinion:

1)Start with wheels and tires
2)Bigger sway bars
3)Upgrade suspensions according to your needs
4)Cat back exhaust
5)Upgrade the brakes.

After doing all the upgrades above, then
consider modding the engine if you don't
mind the extra wear and tear on the engine.

I agree with Gagan ( for once ) lol. Come to the meets and talk to people...see what they have done.

I personally have gone through A LOT of setups, and have come to see that you dont need to buy a "stage kit". You can...but they are expensive. When you talk to people at the meets you will learn how to buy from and who not to buy from. You will meet people from companies that offer great prices and service. Start there....and the rest will follow. Just for your info...plan on saving about $6-$10K to do everything right. It can and will get expensive!! TRUST ME. LOL
