I'm outta here!
I joined this forum back when I first got my Evo 8 in 2004. Met Gagan and some other nice Subaru owners at the autocrosses and signed up, despite not owning one myself. Somehow I've continued to lurk for the past 8 years and only this week purchased my first Subaru. Now that I have one, I feel it is only appropriate that I leave. Goodbye all!

I have no idea which car will be faster. I guess it depends on the venue. On a smooth, twisty road I suspect the Mini will be pretty quick.
I figured the power/weight ratio math for the mini would make it destroy the Subaru? (I am also an autox'er that was schooled by Gagan and has had a LOT of 89 1.6 civics hand my *** to me lol)

Wait...I don't get it...you purchased an EVO and you signed up for the subaru forum, yet now that you've purchased a subaru, you're leaving iclub?

Sadly, I've lurked so much over the past 8 years, no one will really know whether I'm really gone or not. Well, I have come out of hiding on occasion to harass Krinkles in the past. Maybe I should step that up. Hmmmm....
BTW, I went into the Subie dealer to check out the WRX hatch. It seemed like it could be a fairly practical daily driver that would be fun. Nice but ridiculously light clutch, throttle and steering. Couldn't stand it. Sadly, the STI isn't that much better but I guess all the good stuff made up for it. My first Subaru and so far I'm liking it.
