i have been looking at exhaust systems for a while now and cannot come to any final decisions on which one i want to put on my car. i want something that has a deep tone and that is clean sounding. if any of you have any info for me let me know, thanks.

Maybe you should attend one of the meets and listen to other cars' exhaust systems.

and how much $$$ do you wanna spend?

 

cat back and probably no more then 750 for the price

you should pay no more than 600 for a catback. check out some of the styles at www.gruppe-s.com

 

perrin is designed to run off a cat back...nice tone...least that's what I'm told...turbo back it is loud as hell.

This is gonna sound weird..especially from me but....call mpj or go by there....look into Borla's new Hush system.

3 inch cat back. Nice low sound. Not loud. 50 state legal. and teh best part....under $500. And it's actually pretty well built...

Pretty sure that's what I am gonna get.

i heard the borla hush is almost stock sounding... gotta hear it in person.

 

HKS Hi-Power is nice. Great sound and you can get documentation from HKS stating its 50-state legality

 

I want the new RSR Ex mag GT 2 series. Check those out.

 

there's a sound file of the perrin from MPJ. it sounds VERY good. if i could get it i would.

I have a borla (non hush) and it sounds tight IMO. It will be a lil loud when the cats get put down by the vet.
