I'm finally back in a GC
So, after about 3 years of barely even lurking I-club, even though I had an 02 WRX - today I finalized the purchase of fellow member Pils beautiful 2.5 GC. Holy christ it feels good to be back in a GC - even if it lacks power, decent seats and brakes - it makes up for it in sheer style, and a beltline that doesn't go up to your neck. The first subaru I ever had was a GC, and despite all logic, I prefer it over the GD. Call me retarded, I just do.
It's got just about everything I want on it, although I am going to complete the suspension setup with some nice whiteline products, and soon after that a brake upgrade. Also on the must do list is a set of JDM taillights, as they are perty - and will complete the "clear" look Pils had going with the car.
Here is the car in it's dirtiest, dirtiest state. I brought it up to my parents house in loomis tonight and scrubbed the everliving **** out of it - mostly just so I could justify standing proudly and staring at it.
I removed the foglight covers right when I got home, just because they come in handy in the mountain roads I typically drive to see my girlfriend. Other than that, it's going to remain mostly how I got it.
So yeah, hey yall - its been a while. If you see some goofy looking white dude driving around emeryville, berkeley and san lorenzo in this car give him a honk - because that him is me. I'm him, the dude in the car. ****, you know what I'm saying.
