I have an old beat up second hand board, cracks everywhere, haha - no problems. I did ask about it, the shop guys said they can fill them and smooth it out - didn't seem worth the effort, but their comment is that if they are not filled, they can cause a major crack if they get packed with ice.

Me too. I was out about 10 weeks last season with cracked ribs on two separate occasions. Looking forward to a healthy year.

I ride the Heav, Sierra and N-Star.

Would the OP mind turning this into a show of your ride thread now?
I've been on Ride DH2s the last two years. I think I'm gonna try out the Machete this season.

Heck yeah I'm craving for snow!! Last season was my first full one, so I'm sure you guys know how I'm itching to get out there again! LOL I already have my Sierra season pass, which I'm upgrading to include Northstar asap

My friends are already planning to rent a cabin on December, while I'm starting to plan a road trip to a friend at CO.

The only thing holding back my excitement now is that I might actually put my STi for sale (long story) before the season starts.

I got my skis out last weekend and fixed a scrape caused by a rock resulting in a fractured tibia at the beginning of last season.

Can't wait for the snow this year!
