Would you even raise your own kids?

I'm working on my business school applications and was wondering that if I ever do become rich one day, what would I do with my passion for cars? (other than buying a lot of them)

I am DIY hands-on type of person and there's a certain satisfaction knowing that you accomplished it and not some grease monkey. Time is money but knowledge is power so where's the cutoff when your time to DIY just isn't worth it anymore?

Then again there's the age old adage "just because you have money doesn't mean you have to spend it".

Yes, I would do all those things myself because that's how you become rich. If you have the mentality that you'll get everyone else to do it, you'll be so busy people to do the services, you'll never make the moneys.

 

I'd change my own oil, mow my lawn and everything. When money comes into my life is when i stop working. People who work and work and work with ridiculous amounts of money are idiots lol. I'd work for a few years and if i had enough money i would stop and enjoy the money. Not work til im 60 and not be able to have fun.

And i want my kid to know how to change his GF's spare when she is stranded on the highway...I aint raising no sissy. Same with oil changes, fixing his own car, mowing lawn etc.

I'd stop working at 3 million lol. But these CEO's i see on 60 minutes etc. working 80 hrs a week, always in an private jet, on laptop and on cell phone are retarded IMHO because they make multi milliono each year and say theyre gonna keep going lol i guess they have no life if they made it that far. no thanks

I would be the rich guy to find the poor kid at an autoX and give him a beater miata or something. I would give so much to the right people.

hell if I was rich I'd do more of all of those things. More time for the kids. More time for the toys.

Let someone else do the work for me. I can not understand rich people that don't spend time with their families.

To me that is not truly rich. That's just having the money to look good. Truly rich is having the money to enjoy life and knowing the balance.

 

i am not rich, but i don't change my own oil any more... some time something has to give... For me, I just don't have the time anymore...

 

but I would NEVER give up raising my own kids! But i think I would stop washing cars altogether...
