i have an Aprillia 4.5 svx sitting right out front (of the shop, for sale). i "have too" ride it every other day to keep the battery charged. i wish i had the cash to pick it up....

those apes are cool, but anything italian = more time working on the bike, than riding the bike.

 

bike is dope! almost bought one of those suzuki's also.

bought a ducati and sure enough, haven't ridden it for a month (bought it 2 months ago) because one of the pickup coils went bad so only power to one cylinder. and **** yea parts from Europe shipping times :/

i had to get an o-ring for behind the front sprocket for an local dude's 848. It was $0.95 and it had to be ordred and shipped from Italy. WTF? the customer was not so pleased when I told him his 95 cent o-ring really cost 20 bucks (shipping is a bear). I would directly relate it to owning a ferrari....

and the Ape's had MAJOR motor issues in 06-07. mainly the 5.5's but almost all were affected.

my ideal ride right now would be an older wr426/450 with a plate and then add the super single treet package.....sweet....

I had a 2008 Aprilia SXV 5.5 for over a year and loved it. Sold it back in July so that I could get as much for it as possible, then took a chunk of the money and did the E85 switch and some other stuff to the STI.

I still miss the bike sometimes though.

 

me and a few friends will be rollin' around SJ sometime after 1 (gotta work on someones bike this morning). then tomorrow, we usually have 10-15 people in full costume riding around all the downtown areas (LG, Campbell, SJ, etc) to have fun w/ everyone.

OMFG, a supermoto!

I've made it a goal to get a supermoto as my first motorcycle. I love the idea of a dual-purpose motorcycle, kinda like a Subie
