I will assume that you are not kidding and actually answer this question. Most of us do love our cars, but we mod to make our cars stand out from each other, and to customize them to fit our own tastes and personalities. Go to a meet sometime. Most of the conversation centers around mods and customizing. Imagine how boring it would be if everone there had bone stock WRB WRX's. The point is not that we don't love our cars. We do. But we want to enhance them, to make them stand out from the crowd, and to mold them into the vehicle we want it to be.

Hope that about covers it.

+1 absolutely! If you love your car, why would you want it to be exactly like every other suby that has ever been made with the exception of color? Where's the individuality? We mod our cars BECAUSE we love them, and want them to be unique, just like everyone has their own tastes and personalities.

Mine's kinda stock. I'm trying to keep it OEM as possible. I think that's Subie love. A question for you... Is the WRC team not showing the car love by putting Bilstien, Prodrive, Pirelli, OZ parts on it? Also, people try to mod their cars so it's like the WRC car. I think that's showing tons of love.

Honestly though, If I had an STi, I probably wouldn't mod it. Hehe.
