It's evident you don't know how good of a driver he is.

I paid cash....well, wrote a check on a cash account.

BTW, some other blue STi & I left virtually last and came upon a Sherrif's Deputy backed into a driveway.
We were pushing it a tad...nothing too fast.

As I passed the Deputy, I shot him the horns :RockOn - not mine: , and he replied with a big

Is Shiv a good drag racer? We all know drag racing is lame, and I know most people who are really damn good drivers aren't very good drag racers since all their skills are honed into using the car while cornering (accelerating and decelerating, heal-toe, etc)...

Or perhaps all talented drivers are equally good at drag racing because it takes very little skill to master.

What's that line... "Any fool can go fast in a straight line"?

Drag racing can use a lot of skill, it all depends how good you are. I knew a guy that was half blind in 1 eye but he could hop in numerous brands of cars and crap on the owners. He had a true gift.

I was serious about the gallardo, do you know how wide they are? and how skinny that road is?

so half blind in one eye = 1/4 blind total?

i dont think that drag racing even requires more than 1/2 an eye though... maybe no eyes even... get the light tree to register in a headphone hookup... lol.

I think there's a bit more than "timing" involved... Like knowing where and how to turn, how much gas/brake/clutch for x condition.
