I would like to personally thank Freddie (1WRX2NV)
A lot of you old school guys around here know Freddie, I have known him for about 4 years or so now (not as long as he has been around here I know). We have worked on his car for the past year or so and he has become a good friend of everyone here.
In 2006 he helped us with the paint and bodywork that built the L for the 25hrs of Thunderhill, he then helped again when we changed everything up (several times) for the car to compete in Time Attacks.
Well 3 weeks ago I asked him to help me paint and fit a widebody kit on the L, what he (nor I) didn't realize was that even with some help we had with the kit it was neither going to fit or look any good. So not detered with a little help from everyone here at the shop and some serious hours (Freddie and I logged 40 hours from shop closing on Friday to Sunday/Monday AM) we got the kit built, installed and painted on the car.
I would like to personally thank Freddie for all his tireless help and work as without him this would not even be possible for us in the time frame we have.
I have attached a couple of pic's please bear in mind this is not the finished article at all we still need to finish up the side skirts and intergrated side skirt canards, front bumper and splitter, rear bumper and wing which we will be get done by the weekend after next.
Let me know what you folks think!
And the rear
Like I said work in progress but I wanted to post this and say thanks to Freddie for all his hard work!

Here's a better front end pic so you can see how wide the front end is, these panels on the front were made by hand the rears are basically 22b knock's you can buy for $300 that we modified as they are about 40mm to skinny for us
We have another front bumper we're building to match the wideness of the car but I am not sure we'll have that completed for either testing or the Super Lap Battle so we may just modify the current one a little to work with what we have.
