its seems like 1/4 of wheel locks require a socket to be welded on when they break/strip...they suck and i will never buy them again, not that i bought the ones i mangled.

I guess you can say buy better ones next time, or dont drive around with your $2000 wheelset

but thats the pattern that thieves walk around with on their "master" of wheel keys. If they want them they will get them i think.

I dont think its a "if they see the locks, they will avoid your car and find another car with rays volks ssr giovanni 29.5s etc" kinda thing.

its cool your getting a new set, like you should

get 4 sets and mix them all up so you have 4 wheel locks on each wheel and there are 4 different keys needed....that should deter anyone from screwing with your car....just hope you dont need to change wheels in a hurry :rotfl:

nah, random order FTW. Once they find the key that works, they'll try it on the next one. if you have random ones everywhere theyll just get frustrated

ROFL! i thought you meant 4 sets...so you mean like a group buy where 4 car owners buy 4 sets for each car, then exchange them until everyone ends up with 16 different nuts and keys?!?! LOL too bad 5 lug would take even more searching for different key patterns, i dont even know if they make 20 different patterns!

I did mean 4 different sets, 16 wheel locks, 4 keys, used randomly, thieves will hopefully give up....and you'll hopefully never get a flat
