The rest of the road on the backside of mt. hamilton(san antonio valley rd. hwy 130) is the most incredible road I've ever driven. it goes all the way to patterson and the whole way is fun. excellent area for a tarmac rally in my opinion.

yeah, it was on my way to merced. and I'm glad I did because that road is incredible

 

Ah, okay... if you were going back to SF, then it would've been pretty bad

 

yeah we did the same thing.. and like last year it was badass...

how does a sunday morning run sound? I work saturdays.

 

yea that part is the sweetest, and that long straight section thru that valley wooot woot goodtimes was my first time on that rd sunday and it was a blast

 

somebody rang ? hamilton/mines is becoming a monthly drive... LOL

 

if i didnt round out the side tread of my tires... last sunday i would..

where does the other side of mt hamy end up?

 

it will either end up in livermore (by livermore lab) or paterson (I-5).. depends.. but its 50 miles of non stop sharp turns with just a brief break as you roll through a valley ...

oh and those 50 miles will take about 1hr or so...

eh, it's not really sharp turns compared to going up hamilton... it's more like long sweeping turns w/ more straightaways. you can easily hit 100+ mph in a few straight sections... hehe

i'm talking about mines rd.

 

wow.. a 100+ huh.. id like to see that.. with the exeption of the valley section
