I'm sorry to hear about that. I appreciate the previous work you done on my car, and I can vouch that your garage is nicely organized and well-kept.

Ya thats some bewshiet...... anyway u can get a hold of this guy? any chance your service provider can help locate it? I work for a telecommunication company, I am pretty sure someone from your provider can help assist in attempting to locate it via serial number or guid... Thats how we track stolen idevices we provide for our technicians, we basically just send in LEOs to retrieve the items. Kinda sad a member would do that.....

I have his number but that's not gonna do me any good...
My galaxy tab was wifi only so I have no service provider. I saw that I can install a lookout app called plan b after my tab is missing but it wasn't compatible with my model...
Thanks for the ideas though

Oh man..... this is so lame. U can always get his number looked up so u can see which general area he lives at. I dont think its a great idea to retrieve the item yourself and let your emotions run wild either but the nature of this predicament calls for it somehow... otherwise that is a massive loss in terms of $$ and just the fact that u got robbed. What are the odds of someone else other than this guy removing it from your garage while it is unattended? It would be kinda ironic if this guy really didnt have it and a neighbor may have stumbled upon it via thievery.

As I said before, I'm not looking for revenge. Just a warning to the community... Also, my emotions don't run wild. I'm very level headed. Money loss sucks, but its replaceable...
The odds of a neighbor taking it are practically zero... I am the second house from a dead end, and I know all my neighbors... I'm a block from Santana row too, so not a shady neighborhood.

I can't kick very high... Lol. Not necessary though. Like I said, it's replaceable ...

You know what - the way you write and tell the story leads to the conclusion that the guy stole it.
Weird things happen - it could have fallen into a crevice somewhere, or into a tool case, or ???
It's a perfect reason to go out and get a new one - just do that and let it go

"i quoted the wrong guy"

yeah.... unfortunately. as for emotions running wild, i may have worded it incorrectly. you sound pretty level-headed just by your response, too bad for the other person however if he ever shows up in local events..... it would be similar to a witch-hunt.

Situation sucks. Hard to say it was any single person when you didn't see them take it. Wouldn't want to be in your shoes.

Witch hunt - See - this is what shouldn't happen

You could take the high road and use it as a "teaching moment"

What's more important, the physical possession or the human being?

Yeah. Witch hunt not needed fellas. Its a replaceable object. The most annoying part was having to change my password on everything...

It is what it is...

See, like almost everyone else, I'm totally ok fixing your parts. It's nice to have connections. Without your snowboard rack, we would have taken an extra car... It's a community give and take... One of the big reasons I came back to subarus
