Unhappy I still don't know what to do...

So im parting out my wrx to get an sti, BUT i am still wondering if i shoud sell the turbo. its an fp 18g. Does anyone with an sti have this turbo and like it? I know for sure im keeping my down pipe. also with this turbo would i need a bigger tmic? im not going to want to go fmic. I know i will still have to get bigger injectors, a fuel pump, accessport 2 =), and an exhaust. Or! i could just keep the stock turbo and get it protuned for stage 2 and not deal with it all again. this way i could just focus on suspension. So i guess the questions im trying to ask are...

Is your stage 2 sti enough for? or do you wish you had a little more?

also

Is your bigger turboed sti to much for a dd?

Im looking to get my sti to be very responsive in the handleing and in the power. I dont want to wait till 4300 rpms to actually feel the power.

18g IMO wouldn't be worth it when you could just sell it for other parts. Go stage 2 first, that will probably be enough for ya.

sell the turbo and buy a 20g. 18g is a killer turbo for a 2.0. Be a bit small for the 2.5. No lag though.

For now it's stock, I only swapped over my catback. I would go stage two right now but I'm just too scared from all the horror stories of 07's blowin up their motors. I've ridin in/drivin stage 2 STi's though and it's sweet. Felt 100x better than my stage 4 wrx did.
Stage 2 with coilovers would be an awesome start.
