wow, so stupid. If you have to scramble for money, IT MEANS YOU CANT AFFORD THE CAR NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT!

yeah if hes doing fraud hes an idiot.. its a lot less painful to have the repo man come then it is to have the legal man come.
repo man at least uses a little squirt of lube before he bends you over.

I'm not sure, but I thought auto insurance didn't cover the stuff you haul in your car, only the stuff that was installed into it? When I got a stereo and CD's stolen out of my old explorer, the auto insurance covered the after market stereo b/c it was installed the in car. All my stuff like Cd's, leatherman, tools weren't covered. I would have to report that stuff to the homeowners insurance, but it wouldn't be worth it after the deductible.

I only read the first two pages, but I would LOL if it is a scam, and he doesn't get the money for the stuff in the back seat.

He's been talking about trying to sell the camera for the longest time to make some money... and its just odd that he wanted to sell his wrx but would never get what he owed for it.. now his horrible problem just all of a sudden gets fixed with a burnt car.

what would cause the fire to go back to the rear end the way it did?
There is no significant "flammable" material in a car other than seats and the way the car burned it doesn't look like it started from the front and moved back naturally from a wire sparking.
I took several fire classes at my local JC because I wanted to be a volunteer, Not saying I'm some pro but from what I have seen of car/truck/suv fires.. this is a very unnatural looking one.

As far as I know home owners insurance/renters insurance will cover that stuff.... assuming you have it.. I am sure he didn't.. i have never heard of insurance covering belongings out of a comprehensive claim.Unless those items were actually added onto your insurance. Like my insurance said if I got new wheels for my car I would have to add them or else if they got stolen they'd just replace them with the stockers.

His "personal" belongings were in the back seats that made the rear end go up in flames.
