Thumbs up I rescued a kitten yesterday!

Got this little guy from death row at the pound yesterday... His name is Doogy (like Doogy Houser). He's a 2 month old male kitten, he's got a cold at the moment so I'm nursing him back to health. He's getting along with my doggy just fine, and he's going to be my current cat's little brother.

For sure! I already have a couple from my current cat (who was also rescued, but from some cold/wet field during the winter when she was about 6 weeks old... starving, wet, and cold... Now she's living life to the fullest in the house of brucelee... heheh)

I love animals of all sorts, which is why the BAM 9 proceeds is going to the furry friends animal rescue.

Yeah, he's under the weather right now, I had to get some anti biotics for him today at the vet... He'll be fine in a couple of weeks, but until then he's really congested and sneezing like crazy. He got tested for everything today and he's fine and doesn't have anything but a common kitty cold.

YAY

N I only buy the laser pointer since other toys are pointless since my cat has more fun with a random piece of paper, bottle cap, or pen than she will ever have with a cat toy.

PS: I purposely have two black cats because people adopt black cats the least of all other cats for some reason. So the majority of cats that are put down are black cats. I don't understand why, I love black kitties!

I cant wait till he gets older so I can take some action photos like this:

yeah black cats get the shaft because of what you said and the crazy people tend to abuse them more since they are "evil" n such. One reason I would always keep my cat inside on Halloween n stuff.

Hey Daniel, when he was at the pound, was he in a cage by himself, or with other kittens?

We got a kitten from the shelter that seemed to have a cold, but turned out to be the beginning symptoms of FIP, which is no bueno.

Yeah, that sucks man... I got him tested for FIP today, he was negative.

He was in with other cats, so all the cats had colds... It was just going around. No one payed any attention to my little guy because he was a black cat.

I swooped him up right when I saw him, love at first sight. He's such a sweet heart.
