Do you have his phone number or email address? I really want to find out where he got the wheels painted, and if they were in fact powder coated.

Nice. I remember those days. Back when Gruppe-S was German Autowerks, UCKK barely started, yahoo chat, before most places had a storefront, etc. People and things have come a far way. Good ****.

 

I think most of the miles i put on the WRX were from going to UCKK for 4 months straight.

 

3 years ago I had a 00 Civic Si and the WRX was the newest and hottest thing on the market. I remember going to the dealer and seeing the insane markups on them.

 

Damn Mark, I remember that pch drive. My car was pretty much completely stock. That was a long time ago. Back when Jason screwed up his power steering doing the donuts. lol

And who could forget Ish's going away party and putting that mini z through everything on that damn table. Salt, pepper, sugar. Whatever we could find. lol

 

Haha.. I forgot about Jason's steering. Drifting the RC in the salt and trying to make it jump. It couldn't even get up the incline.

I remember during Ryan's going away dinner, we built a rally stage using forks, spoons, lots of salt, pepper, and whatever we could find on the table so Marc could drive his Bit Char around it. This was back when I had my little putt putt 92 Integra. The UCKK meets gave me something to do and helped me kept my mind off things that were bothering me at the time.

 

damn that pch meet was way back. we met up at jasons place. r_master(jae) got his catback installed that day. one of my first meets with suby folks. good times

You know Ken? Haha.. I met him at Sears Point YEARS ago when I drove there in the GT-4 (now Akira-R's) before the engine blew. We were heading to an HPDE on the new race motor and my friend hit me on the radio saying "dude, there's a WRX up there - kill kill kill" but he didn't play. Turned out to be a real nice guy, gave me a ride in his car on the track and then I ended up getting a WRX... Haaaa... I thought those wheels looked familiar...
