That's the funny part, I would take a stock Evo over a M3 in a heart beat.

So here is what happened,

There I was leaving our shop to meet with our engine builder with our shop Evo loaded up to the gunals with blocks, pistons and what not. I get to a stop light and minding my own business when this guy in a E46 M3 pulls up next to me rolls down the window and says.....

Nice Altezza's!!!!

I still do not know what to say.

Mike <--- dead blow in hand going to fix the shop Evo Altezza's right now.
Say this in return....."Nice Car.....is that the new Hyundai?"

I won't, not the last few M3 generations . . . they used to be such good cars. Now they're cushy and slow.

Last few generations?

There have only been 3.

The E36 and E30 were great...the E46 is more of a luxury car, but still a nice car.

Don't feel too bad. In near future, the newer STI will join the club with it's own altezza.

~$400 for a set of JDM V7 tails that make it look much happier.

And I'm with mike. I'd rather have an EVO VIII over an M3 any day. My ***** is long enough that I don't need a status symbol, I'd rather have something that actually responds to modding inexpensively. $10000(plus labor) for a dinan S2 package nets you about 30hp and 20lb-ft, $10000 in an evo is an M3 destroying monster. If you're buying an M3 for a performance machine you're sadly duped. For the price difference between the two put into the EVO would make the it able to beat the M3 around the track using only 1 gear, reverse.

Yeah, but what M3 driver would be willing to race in reverse?

I was being sarcastic, meaning an evo with the difference in cost put into mods would beat the the M3 using only reverse while the M3 used all of it's gears

Right, last few years or last generation, got my words crossed.
