I'm finding that quite a few local cops, including the PLacer County Sheriff use the K band. In fact the only thing I pick up on KA now is Poncherello.
X though is totally useless, unless you want to know where the nearest grocery store/mini mall is!
One of those big, bright digital color advertisement screens down in the Bay Area (101S in Redwood City) trips the laser warning every time.
