My car is at MPJ.

I'm coming in from SF. I need to get a lift from south hayward bart to mpj.

Probably sometime in the neighborhood of 6:15 tonight.


Would be a HUGE help.

 

Where is the Hayward bart station? I gotta go overthere and pick up a Turbo Inlet hose.....and I could pick u up on the way....but I will be coming from SJ so I will probably hit traffic. Lemme know

The Downtown Hayward stop would be a better stop to get off at as it is a straight shot to MPJ down Winton.

What train do you plan on taking? As I will be leaving SF around 4:30-5:00pm headed to Hayward as well.

Oh...cool. I wasn't sure which one was closer. I just picked south hayward cause I used to get to live down the street so I know exactly where it is...only gotten off on hayward once.

I'd be getting on the train around 5:15.

Ms. Red I've met you at least once before. I was the guy in the white wagon on the last Mt. Hammy drive...I was in front of Soren for a while.



Ted....south hayward is strait up Tenneson on the right. The downtown hayward station...I have no idea. Maybe Maricel could fill us in.


I have to call them again...been kind of hectic over there. Some kind of billing mix up with my car. Least they got the right parts on there. haaa. There were two Rays in there today.

 

i like downtown hayward since they have a parking garage... protects from the sun and crap.

plus there's a police substation there...

Forgive me for my short term memory loss, but I can barely remember who I meet at the Mt. Hammy drive. I was too focused on the road and worried of objects flying out in front of the cars.

Anyway, I usually leave work around 4:30pm and catch bart at the Embarcadero Station. It gets me into Hayward around 5ish. The dt Hayward station is pretty cool, it's a ways from my house, but I like it for the parking garage.

Soren and I took bart in today, so maybe we can work something out and get you to the shop.

 

The South Hayward bart station is between Industrial Pkwy and Tennyson Road. If you plan on picking him up there, the best way to get there is to:
-Exit Whipple Road/Industrial Parkway
-Go straight at the light and follow the road onto Industrial
-Stay right at the fork in the road (otherwise you'll end up on Ruus Road)
-Turn left at Dixon Road (the stop light after the rail road tracks across from the golf course)
-Go straight through a few stop signs and the bart is on the left side.

I only know this because I live in UC/Fremont and drive around wayy too much.

 

I just called the shop, mix up resolved, and you're good to go.

 

Which color were you looking to get?

 

fyi - if the shop isn't too busy, they tend to close up shop around 6ish. If you want or plan to stop by, give them a call to let them know you'll be showing up after 6.

 

I need a black one, Soren said that he had some coming in last week.....do you know if they actually arrived? Well, even if they didn't I'll still come pick you up Mark, if you need a ride still.....are you going to get off at the s.hayward stop still? or the one that Ms. Redrex mentioned off winton?

Dang...if I would have know they had a parking garage I would have been going there the whole time i lived in hayward...but south hayward was blocks from my house in the hood so I went there. Bah....today is my last day on bart for a while. ....switching to caltrain.

 

Yea, I only park at that station now.

I used to park at the UC station, and it sucked during the summer. My car was always burning hot when I got to it.

Now that I live in Fremont, I drive an extra 5 min to the Hayward station. It's totally worth it.

Plus, it's easier to get to CSUH from there. No back tracking.

 

UC sucks.

I got my truck broken into there. Almost twice...got a guy once. well...a kid. Don't think he broke into any more cars after that.

I park at fremont cause I've been living in milpitas....fremont sucks...specially with all the construction going on. If you don't get there insanely early you park in BFE. but I know some tricks so usually once a week or so I park right in front.

 

So I take it you still need a ride then?

The car's coming along very slooow, damn mortgage payments are taking away from my car money But hey, atleast I have my own garage, so its a trade off i guess. I still need to get the Turbo inlet hose, RC Engineering 750cc injectors, and the STI oilpan/pickup/dipstick before I can install my Turbo. But those are the last pieces to the puzzle, then its install fest time! w00t!
