Hey, I was driving up to tahoe on thursday (2-26-04) in the middle of the storm and my car lost traction when I hit a patch of deep snow on I-80. I slid sideways and just scraped my bumper. It wore all the way through the plastic, but didn't dent anything or move anything out of line. I think it is a good excuse to get a front bumper body kit but I need a whole bumper nad not just a lip. I could use some recomendations on where to get locate this. San Jose area or Sonoma County would be best. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

looking for something other than stock, not totally sure what my options were. if something might come painted. if i could put it on myself and what not. you think i should take it to a shop to get it done?

i guess it would be good to check prices for a stock bumper as well. it would be good to know how much i should expect to pay. where do i go to get prices for stock bumper?

sorry, forgot about that. i have a white wrx wagon. the wagon presents another problem cause i am not sure what bumpers will fit the wagon.

what you replacing it with? how much is an oem bumper, have any idea? how much are you paying for the replacement? i am going to have to start saving my pennies.

damn, i really want to get an aftermarket bumper. why are you going back to oem and dumping the sti bumper?
