You might want to try Craigslist. You can select part time jobs and a bunch of stuff comes up.

I've tried craigslist but nothing. As for the taco bell etc. Do I ask for and submit an application? because I did that for starbucks and they never gave me a call back.

Try retail stores. Any video game stores like Game Stop, EB, etc. Also try Best Buy. Circuit City. Target. Etc.

If you really want the job, you should call them back and ask if they've reviewed your application yet.

You have to apply to ~50 or so of those type of jobs (fast food/mall/etc) because they all accept apps but they may not be hiring. So just fill out as many as you possibly can, and eventually you'll get a job. At least that worked for me when I was in HS...

Openings in what positions? I've been applying like crazy, and Ron Price Subaru said I have the job, but I need to start ASAP and they're lagging.

Update: I know this seems really silly of me to say, but I would prefer a place that doesn't do pee tests. I am NOT a stoner by any means, but last weekend I got pretty lit for like three nights straight and the thc won't clear my body to an acceptable level for about a month or so. I got an application for Office Depot and saw that they need to do pee tests and same for CompUSA. I'm not sure about BestBuy. As for the offer to work at Peter Pan, probably retracted because of this post, thanks but it is really far as I go to school in Lafayette and I live on the Oakland/Berkeley area. Oh and I'd also like a car related job, or a grocery bagger so I can gank beer.
