Unhappy I Need Help Asap Please

Does anyone know how to temporarily disarm the alarm system on a 2002 subaru WRX? I forgot my remote in Sac and my wife is in Santa Rosa with the spare remote. I have the spare key, however when i unlock the car, it triggers the alarm. So i'm F***.
Thanks in advance for the help.

from the manual:

Unlock door with your key, open door
Alarm sounds
Insert key into ignition
Cycle it between the "Lock" position and the "On" position three (3) times within 5 seconds

and you're set!

i just unplugged the whole module under the armrest.
my friend lives in twin peaks and i guess there's too much interference, and my alarm would never work. the car would never unlock. i tried my extra remote to see if mine ran out of batteries, nope. i even tried the three cycles, still nothing. so my last resort was to get into the car, tear out the arm rest, and unplug the module.

Next time try pointing the remote at the bottom of your chin (actually touching it) and get as close to the car as possible, then try it...your head acts like an amplifier

ive done that...under the chin and even pointed towards the car. the first time that happened i spent a good 10 mins trying to unlock it.
the second time i just said f it and unplugged it to save me the grief.
it happened a second time because i thought the first time was a fluke.

That really blows -- whats worse is imagine all that interference from that tower blasting all the unsuspected residents...anybody know what that tower is for? Radio?

Incidentally I've been up there a few times and was always able to make it work, although I pretty much had to hold the remote to the glass...

Thanks for all your help guys.
I actually called Santa Cruz Subaru and they were awesome! They were prompt and Bruce, the service counselor that helped me was very patient. I called him maybe 3 times. The first time asking him what to do, the second telling him it's not working and the 3rd telling him again it's still not working. What happened was that i have a turbo timer and every time i turn the key and turn it off again it would idle. DUH!
On a bad note, I just wanna say is that Ron Price Motors had bad customer service. They were the first delearship i called since i live near them and that's where i bought my car. When i called them i was told that they were busy and that they had to call me back, which was understandable. It's now 12:18 AM and I still did not get a return call. Good thing I didn't rely on them or I'll still be outside trying to figure out how to disarm my alarm.

So Santa Cruz Subaru, MAD PROPS TO YOU GUYS!!! Keep doin what your doin fellows. You guys are the BEST!!!

Ron Price, well, what can i say...
