guess what, i just hit the front of my car today against something. dont ask how...but instead i need advice. My insurance deductible is at 1000 so i'm going to do this out of my own pocket. Do you guys think i should get the jun bumper from gruppe-s? or is there any other bumpers i should get or replace it with a stock one? The jun bumper hangs pretty low compared to the rest of the car, like the side skirts and such, so i'm kinda hesitant on that. And if i get the oem ones, how much do u think it will run me to get it ? THanks.

I'd love to make Gruppe-S some cash... but 2 things to consider:

- the JUN bumper is one solid piece. (A lip can just rip off, if you muck a one piece bumper, as you just have experienced, the whole bumper is lost)

- the JUN bumper is FRP (fiber reinforced plastic), not eurethane, meaning it will crack even easier than your stock bumper. I wouldn't put it on my car unless it was a track-only car.... or I had lotsa $ to blow

btw, anyone want to buy my exhaust? i'm thinking about selling it....hks carbon Ti, 2nd owner...just had it on for like 2 weeks....might need to sell it and put stock one back on for the freaking bumper...

 

you can probably find a used bumper for cheap. that way the exhaust stays. go>show

 

a new bumper for the front is around $180 from the dealer unpainted.

 

Andy (BADWRX) is selling his NEW JUN bumper....if you go to get one, I am sure he will beat any other price out ther. In fact he was willing to do an EVEN trade for someones OEM MBP (black/blue) front bumper. All you have to do is paint it. BEST deal of the Century!!!!!
