Okay, this is a sentiment I absolutely cannot relate to.
I have massive amounts of bills and NO free time. Granted I'm in a masters program, but even as an undergrad life was constantly busy, expensive, and often really stressful.
Between my B.A. and M.A. I worked a Case Management position in a homeless outreach facility, as well as in a domestic violence shelter for families. Obviously this job came with quite a bit of stress, but I've gotta say, undergrad and grad school have been way more intense.
So to anyone who is really missing college and wants to go back...I just finished an exam, I have a thesis chapter due tomorrow, plus a mountain of homework on top of it and probably a million other things I'm forgetting. There is no distinction between weekdays and weekends for me; I work all the time. I miss my hobbies, spending time with my significant other, my friends, family, etc.
Still miss school?

Yup. I too miss the super laid back lifestyle, where everyone's almost always down to hang out, the work atmosphere is almost as laid back as being at a friend's house, being able to sleep in on a rainy day in order to avoid walking around campus during a downpour and then hearing from a friend that you missed ablolutely nothing in class, etc. Reality Check!

I somewhat miss college life as well...well mainly the part with meeting new people and seeing all the beautiful ladies on campus when its a nice day...I also graduated from SFSU...Other than that I am glad I am done with the group projects, papers, and craming for midterms =)
lol at sjsu.. there are always hot girls everywhere like the first two or three weeks looking like slooots, then it dies down.. and when spring comes around they come back :P
So I just graduated from SF State last May and I'm starting to hella miss college... seeing hella people I know and people my age and having my car around.
Now I'm stuck with hella old ppl workin as an accountant (no offense to all the OG's), and takin BART to the city cuz theres nowhere to park in the financial district, I miss driving my car in the city.
All my friends are texting me how many beeziez they have in their classes. Sorry for *****in, maybe its cuz i havn't even had a vacation since graduating, I just went straight to work. I think I'm going to quit soon to take a break and find another job!!!!

I went to the Academy of Art and commuted from home. I never had the college experience or the experience of living away from home (not that I don't WANT to, mind you, if I had the cash, I'd be out of here in a heartbeat). Student loans, FTL. I won't be able to move out or get a new car for a long while.

I'm in your shoes too.
People would always ask me "why do you commute from Santa Cruz? You're crazy!"
Im crazy for not wanting to live with 4 other roomates (artist roomates...yeah you cant even imagine...) paying $400 a month for a dump, then having to STILL commute!
Sometimes i got to stay at my mom's friends house on 15th/Market and i actually chose to drive down to Mountain View a few times just because i didn't want to bother with parking/ driving thru the streets lol. That was when gas was $2-3 but whatever.
People think of commuting differently, i dont give a F how long it takes, the only part that matters to me is the beginning and end. The middle is all fluff/time to study/sleep too
