I made a good faith effort to conceal the personal info... If I'm not mistaken since the letter was sent to me it becomes my property and I can do what I want with it.
But since I have a some editor software in front of me

Yeah, erasing or deleting is better than painting over. I won't say how I uncovered the address. I did it to see if I could anyways, I'm not the kind to invade someone's personal privacy.

Good call on completely removing rather than masking the info. It was pretty easy to decipher that stuff when I saw it earlier.

Hmmm... wouldn't "the cuts" be places like deep in the Almaden or Evergreen areas? At least when I lived near downtown SJ, that's what we called "the cuts."
