they haev a towing capacity of 2000lbs, its so you can tow stuff around, thus having a hitch

yeah I already know that. This is something different..... the trailer hitch would be the most obvious thing to recognize (how many Blue WRX sedans in the bay area have them installed? )

So Chris, when do you get the STI?

And yes, I want a test ride (or drive ) at an AutoX......

It should debute @ marina... got almost 400 miles on it already.

well, you know what the brakes are like the power is amazing. even with before the break in is finished, I can pull nice 6th gear passes on Rt 1 without getting over 4 grand and the pass is completed at lower than half boost

Very cool, Chris. Yep, low-end Torque is Da Bomb . Coming from my SS (approx 340 ft-lbs....at the wheels.....at 3000 RPM) you really notice the lack of it in the WRX. WRX pulls better at high RPM though

As for the brakes : I need to try different pads in the WRX Brembos. My SS will still (easily) outbrake the WRX despite weighing a good half-ton more! A pad swap (and better street tires) on the WRX should solve that one though...
