Thumbs down I just watched the most horrific show ever! (My Sweet Sixteen)

I don't typically watch TV, let alone MTV, but I couldn't turn the channel because it was so appalling that my human curiosity kicked in and I had to watch... Sort of like a train wreck.

It was an episode with this SPOILED *** Persian (They say Persian because they are too ashamed to say they are Iraqi, or Iranian) gal who was throwing a party for her 16th bday... I have never seen a more spoiled child in my entire life!

It was so bad that during the entire episode I was hoping a grand piano would fall off a building and nail her down into a flat Persian pancake.

Has anyone else seen this show? It's truly unbelievable. The kids aren't only spoiled, but have been spoon fed everything their entire lives and have turned into the most inept people I have ever seen! If I was like that when I was 16, I would have kicked my own ***!

It's really sad to see what money can do to a person... I don't really blame the bratty kids though, I blame their parentally inept parents. How can they turn their kids into something like that? What happens when the family loses all its money and the kids have to revert to being a normal kid? It's really sad to think about how f'ed they are if mommy and daddy aren't around to spoon feed them $100 bills... Well, depends on your definition of "sad" I guess... I'd laugh my *** off watching them have to face real life reality and not some silver spoon life that they have grown so used to.

I know a ton of people that are very rich (grew up with them) and NONE of them act this way... You wouldn't even know my friends were rich because they are responsible and know how to save money thanks to the influence of great parents... But these sweet sixteen idiots are unbelievable...

Man, I really hope that Persian chick gets "piano'd"

Oh, another thing that bothers me is that they are glamorizing that sort of behavior! Making it seem like it's a good thing to be that spoiled and socially inept. You know how many kids watch MTV, and now they are getting the message that being spoiled and waited on hand and foot without displaying any kind of respect towards anyone else is the way to live.

I have seen the show and realized that I wanted them all to DIAF. If my kid was ever like that. I would punt them like a football.

they did followup shows on those girls and sent them to places like africa, or the netherlands for a week, where they have to live with a very poor family and do the hard labor that they do daily.

That sounds great! F' those punk *** kids!

Also, who the hell would go to Africa over the Netherlands to go live in poverty? Africa is the anus of the world, one of the last places I'd ever want to go with the exception of a few places... I'd love to go to the Netherlands! I wonder what part?

Its a show that follows a very rich kid as they are planning INSANE parties that cost like $500,000 or more. They get everything and anything they want, and they whine and cry when they don't get something. it always has to be their way or no way.

Arrrrrrg!
