Unhappy I Just Killed a Racoon

man, this sucks,
the stipid little critter just ran right into my way. i was on the street that goes along the back side of SF state comming home from a house party, and BAM! the steeet is almost pitch black in some sections because it runs along the lake merced golf course. i just finished washing the unerdside of my car just incase of any remains. this sucks, i feel horrible.

Its just a smart rat

But I know how ya feel. I once thought I killed a cat. Turned out I only killed a black plastic bag filled with lawn clippings

I saw someone hit a possum and then I saw it crawl for a few seconds then it fell to its side and died. And I called a rat once.

if my incident would have been intentional, then you could have called it my own retaliation.
a few years ago my friends and i went camping at some state park near half moon bay. there were about 12 racoons that wouldnt leave us alone. after putting up with them for a few hours, we packed up and left to go camp out at the beach.
that night sucked.

It's no fun causing the death of an innocent animal. Still, it's survival of the fittest and you've just slightly altered the raccoon gene pool and improved the long-term survival of the species.

They are actually playful, mischievous (please don't say mis-chee-vee-us) creatures that enjoy it when people bring paintball guns and try to hit them.

Look at the bright side - you coulda hit a skunk!

Did you put it on a spit and roast it for dinner? They eat that $hit down in the Southern US...but that are bass ackwawrds anyway!

Don't sweat it. It ain't like you killed a dog or something good. Racoons are vermin, and they carry rabies...albiet not in the Western US, but the first documented human death of racoon contracted rabies was reported and confirmed last week in George or someplace like that...I read it on the AP wire.

Hey Gagan, the last thing that I want to do is offend you, you know that, but I have a serious question:

I thought that in East Indian beliefs, it causes bad karma to do something like your above quote?

Like I said, I am just being inquisitive, and my intention is not to be offensive. In the liberal and PC world that we live in, you can never be too cautious though.

Cheers,
Andy

if you guys want raccoons come to my house. there is a family of about 15 of them that wander to my backyard to swim every once and a while.
