wouldn't that just promote street racers to run away from the cops and cause an potentially fatal accident. Since he most likely wouldn't just get a simple ticket, but would get his car + mods + time spend taken away, permanently.

My 0.02: Street racing is lame, it can be dangerous and I don't support it at all. I do like to drive and have fun though, driving with in your limits and going back roads is great. I support the idea of maxing out your car and doing what ever you want to it. It's how you use it that makes the difference. The cops taking peoples cars and using them to get other racers is a smart idea to be able to keep up but I don't support it at all. The idea of a cop taking some ones car because of the illegal **** they have done to it to keep it off the street makes sense. But they are putting those cars back out there. They fine the person, take their car and then drive it themselves; why don't they just admit to smoking confiscated weed too! Imagine a cop telling you that what you did was stupid and now your car is going to be taken and driven the same way just so I can get your buddy. Fight fire with fire right? Sure, I use a knife, you use a knife, now we are both bleeding. You get a gun and I'll get a gun, now we are both dead. You speed and drive like a fool; I'll take your car and do it too. I don't know, maybe I'm just being narrow minded but it seems like they are being hypocrites. Time for food!
