As life-long student of science, this is one of my biggest pet peeves, if not the biggest: you have a hypothesis, not a theory.
/soapbox
Back to your hypothesis, I present the following:
2018 Ferrari 458:
Ferrari LaFerrari:
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento:
Sorry. Major hard-on for Italians..
And now my counter-points:
2018 Toyota Prius:
Nissan Leaf:

A common misconception.
What you posed is a hypothetical statement in which you offered a possible explanation for causal correlation of vehicular quality on the difference in overall body width and headlight separation.
A scientific theory is a set of exhaustive and supportive conclusions drawn from repeated and repeatable experimentation which accurately and repeatedly predict the outcome of any future testing of the hypothetical statement.
You posed a hypothesis, you did not present a theory.

Headlight position is somewhat arbitrary, within the realm of adjusting the beam pattern at a reasonable distance. Track width is an objective metric that typically translates to better performance/is seen in more sporty cars.

Did you already have a conclusion in mind and now trying to selectively build evidence to prove it true? I feel like the 1st post picture is trying to justify that you "widebody" GR model is the bestest one short of a full on track day car...
