i have a problem with my computer

sometimes, when i click on certain links, it redirects me to another site. NOT to like a spyware search engine, but to something like aol or yahoo or nasioc or google. Then i also have a problem of showing pictures, like if i go to a website and there's tons of pictures, i would load maybe like 20-30% of them. However if i right clicked and selected show picture i can see every single one of them....anyone have this problem before?

The search thing sounds like spyware, but maybe your search settings are set weird. Customize the search function and see if anything looks weird in there.

The picture thing could be solved by:

Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced --> Multimedia --> Show Pictures

Otherwise, just reformat/reinstall

look at your running processes, see what doesnt belong there and then put the name of the executable in Google. You're likely to see likes like "removing spywear".

Check your installed programs, many stupid spywear programs use legitimate installers and even register themselves.

Search your disk for the aforementioned executable's name and delete it if you dont see it registered as an installed program.

And my last and most important piece of advice...

DON'T USE INTERNET EXPLORER

duh!

you should clear out the cache as well.....

start > settings > control panel > Internet Options > in "temorary internet files section" click "delete cookies" and "delete files - check the 'delete all offline content'"

this should help......
