I have one of the best driving instructors EVER.
Scot Smithee... He's a seasoned police driving instructor... He's 6'7 and can do just about ANYTHING in a car. I've seen some great drivers in my time but this guy blows EVERYONE out of the water, BIG TIME.

Dude, he can drive a crown vic in crazy tactical maneuvers while sitting in the passenger seat!
What does this mean to you? Well... I'll probably end up dead on the side of Mt Hamilton... lol

That Smithee sounds like a genuine all around great guy. Like the kind you see in movies, and want to be pals with!
He's like Costner in the Guardian and Jason Statham in the Transporter, cept real!
Get everything you can out of this one!

Hey brucelee, obviously from your post you're going into law enforcement which is pretty cool. what kind of police work will you be doing? just a regular cop or how does it work? are you going to hook up i-club with fix it ticket signatures?
i really woulnd't mind being a police officer, seems like a very interesting job.

My bro went there and is a cop now. I must say I'm really proud of my bro - the training was rediculously difficult from my perspective. You have to be super smart (it takes lots brain to be a cop than what most people might think), sharp, in great shape, and brave. Drop out rate was high too. And you have to be super clean in terms of your back-ground check. If you have anything bad in the background check, don't waste your time. It would be hard to get in the program and absolutely impossible to get a job.

my brother in law is a police officer in Fresno. In the last 6 months they've had 6 officers shot. In the history of fresno pd before this.....6.
It's hectic over there man. The last guy shot 3 cops. They chased him down and put 90 rounds into him. The guy before that...dead.....the one before that....dead. You'd think that people would figure out they can't **** with fresno pd.
sketchy. He works a lot of nights. In his first year he was on scene for something like 14 bodies. One guy took an AK round in the forehead while he was sitting in his car.
I thought about going into it a LONG time ago. My grandfather was a sheriff. My uncle a dedective. Another aunt and uncle officers. Lots of law inforcement in my family. I think I'd be a good cop seems as how I got into so much trouble as a youth.
Have fun daniel. Do they still teach two footed?
