i think i used about half a bottle of penetrating oil.

yes its the correct direction.

i thought pb and penetrating oil "off brand" were all the same..

maybe pb does work better... prolly does after all these stripped nuts and bolts. uag;slja;lkjdg;alksjdfa

Yeah, pb blaster is awesome.


Don't feel bad, my bolts actually broke off on the turbo side. Kind of embarrassing, kind of cool at the same time.

stripped nuts? go out and get yourself a good quality 6 pt. socket set (craftsman is fine). I finally caved and got a good tool setup and its made all the difference.

Use your jack handle as leverage on the ratchet/wrench, you can break any nut that way.

No way man, we used a come-along from the frame of the Suburban to the tranny of the Suby and "came-it-along" until the tranny came lose from the motor. Lol.
