i hate my car

so my car has like a hundred things worng with it. ok maybe only 6. but still thats too many for such a new car. first there have been a couple little things that i have been living with but its time to get them fixed plus a couple new things.

1. premature wear on the driver seat. i know some other people have had similar issue, and i am finally going to get it taken care of.

2. wind noise coming from the driver window. gets really annoying with the stereo off on the freeway. i was able to live with it for a while, but now its just too much.

3. tire damage. there is a bubble on the sidewall of my tire. these tires have less than 100 miles on them and tire rack said it was beacause of a road hazard. i say, b.s. to that. they charged me half price for a new tire.

4. CEL came on yesterday. i have no clue what it could be.

5. reverse lights. they are always on. whether i go in reverse, neutral or forward, they are always on. i ended up just pulling the bulbs ou because it was probably annoying other people at night, along with myself.

6. vibration. at speeds over 60 my car has a steady vibration. not like its going to fall apart or anything but it just shakes. its kind of like its giving you a massage. still very annoying though. but it goes away veryonce in a while. not sure if the tire problem could be causing it though.

so yeah, my car is less than a year old, has 23,000 miles on it and is falling apart. i made an appointment to take it in for monday morning. lets just hope they don't try and tell me any of it is my fault and they aren't going to fix it under warrenty. this has just been a couple frustrating days.

Hey Ryan the vibration is almost certainly coming from the tires. Possibly not the bubble, but they may not be balanced properly.
I'm sorry your car is starting to mess up. That really sucks. Hope you can get everything fixed.

Wink

Cel could be a loose gas cap. I had one just a few months after owning the car. It went away after about 5 days. I dunno if it was the gas cap or not, but there was no other suspects as my car was stock back then as well.

Vibration I bet is the tires.

The light issue should be covered even if you have nitrous and tons of other mods. Same with the window noise and the seat. Chill out ....

Make sure the revese lights are seated properly.

The vibration is probably your alignment.

the CEL could be a known problem. I threw 1 about a year ago. turns out the older wrx's have a diff ECU than the newer ones. they'll want to get a new 1 for your car. no biggie. I actually never even got a new one. (i believe at the time people were saying the new ecu's give u less power? something like that. could be it was just busy relearning) i have never thrown another CEL again.

i also have some weird noises from my car. but its all good. still love it.

i still love my car and am glad i got it. i was just a little frustrated by a few things these past few days (not all car related) and so i just needed to let a little frustration out.
