So today, I was leaving safeway and I was waiting at the stop light, just going about my day. Then all of a sudden I hear a crash from behind and then it crashed into me... I get out of the car to see what happened. Then this lady (Acura CL) that got sandwiched between me and the truck was hella like trippin and was telling me to stop this other truck, which hit her and was in the process of driving away in the other lane. I run up to her and tell her to pull over and she said she was mumbling some stuff and couldn't really understand. But she was acting really strange and definitely looked cracked out or something. So the light turned green and she just basically bounced
... I was fortunate enough to get a good look at her, remembered half her license plate (Arizona) and remembered her beat down old camper truck. I looked at my car and only sustained some bumper damage, everything else looked surprisingly fine. So we call up the police and file a hit-and-run claim, get questioned and all that good stuff. About an hour and a half later, the cop calls me to come and ID the lady, and low and behold same truck and same driver. I got a better look at her and she was definitely twitching and was definitely on something. And the cop said she would be arrested and sent to jail on "multiple charges" and found out that she had no license or no insurance.
Kinda sucks it happened, but I'm glad the police found her and arrested her and my car only had bumper damage.
Which should be fairly easily replaceable and would be covered by insurance.

Like 1:30 in the afternoon... Yeah I was super surprised they found her quick. The lady that got hit was hysterical... I felt bad for her cause she was crying and everything about her car getting ****ed... Which it was, her whole rear end was gone

ahhh... nevermind then haha. We have a high instance of crackheads out in west county haha. I thought you meant the safeway in pinole or rodeo.
Title sounds dirty...
On a serious note, at least you're okay and the fix is simple. Seems like today was "drive while intoxicated day" as my friend got rear ended today as well (and an audi...and a civic).

Wow, bummer about the accident. I was just reading on BARF that a suspected dui killed a motorcyclist on Hwy 1 on Sunday afternoon just north of Santa Cruz. To make things worse, the accident happened right in front of the victim's wife.
