I got hit by a fork! or something!

so I was driving back from san carlos and all of a sudden, a silver thing flew out of no where and nailed my windshield in the upper corner! I get home and check it out and of course, theres about a 3 inch crack where the fork like object hit. any suggestions on places I can take my car to get my windshield fixed? I dont want to wait cause I dont want the windshield to start cracking, since it is getting colder. do I pretty much have to replace my windshield? f**k im so irritated right now. STUPID FORKS! heres a picture...you can see where the it hit my windshield and where the crack ends

i think your gonna have to get it replaced, there are guys that do moble windshield replacements, and i think they are one of the cheaper ways to go about it.

they gave me the best quote so far ($200). ive gotten quotes up to $499! I think its so high because I have that windshield that has the wiper heater things but I dont think im goin to ever use that. I might as well just get the stocker.

This has become a serious problem in the bay area... I prefer to live in Oregon where it still rains 'cats and dogs'!
