I get a Virus blocked Message when opening the LIC post, EVERY TIME!
Every time I click on the "pics from around the shop (various projects too)" forum post and the forum post loads right as the page loads My AV program pops up "High Risk Website Blocked" a warning about blocking access to "ksaiperformance.com/gallery2/main.php" a "Mal/HTML Gen-A" was found at the website. Whats up with that? This has been going on for months now. i didnt report it months ago because i thought the admins who are on top of so many other things would be on top of this too. Is this something the admins have no control over? Why is it just the LIC post?
I hope it can be resolved. Its crazy i can surf **** and no virus warnings pop up but i go to i-club click on Lic's forum post and bam...

maybe your virus program thinks the site the images are posted from (photobucket, flickr, etc) are malware sites or something.
So maybe figure out what site LIC uses to upload pics, and then disable the filter for that site.

The AV program doesnt have any problems with photobucket, flicker, and so on. It does tho identify compromised files. Sophos might be giving a false posative and it might not. Better to error on the side of caution.

No idea what you're talking about in regards to a virus warning. I can view our posts just fine and so can the others whom post in it and the 1,100+ posts and 73k+ views.
The old ksai site is gone and those images are no longer hosted, therefore they don't exist anymore.
This issue must be isolated to your end, nothing going on with ours.
can you view this page: https://www.i-club.com/forums/lic-mo...195527/page74/

Right now using my main desktop, our laptop, and my cell...no issues.
Also my home computer...no issues. That's 4 separate machines on my end without issues!

I did not say i could not view the thread. I can view the thread just fine. My AV program (Sophos) at work pops up with a notification every time i click the "Pics from around the shop (various projects too) thread" and Just that thread, My home Pc does not but then again norton doesnt notify you of everything it just blocks and keeps the end user in the dark untill you actually catch something. I can see the thread just fine from any devices i use. again This is NOT the problem.
Thank you for letting me know you do not control that site. I would think tho as admins you would want to keep those who frequent your site to be safe and not want other sites having virus/malware objects linked to posts. I work at a university so our AV program i guess is a bit stronger than others since people are claiming they dont get the warning. And hey if peeps want to say its on my end go right ahead, But its not.
FWIW Im not some pc noob, Im A DBA/Server Manager/Systems Manager/MCSE. I just wanted to share my findings. Better safe than sorry right.
Update. I checked the links you all provided and they all point to the same forum post but at different spots in the post. NO warning. When I go to the first page like anyone who would click the normal post link, I get the virus warning pop up. so some content that resides on that first page has a link that leads to an infected file.
Again im just trying to pass this along to hopefully save someone from a virus.

So as a manager if 10 people are fine and the 1 is having problems...................
JK not trying to blame anything, just stating that everything looks fine on my end.

I think you narrowed down the root cause
So what your saying is its on my end?
If we received hundreds of reports of a thread, something would be done. One user that is only having a problem at work, not so much.
if i knew this would be the reaction i was going to get i wouldnt have said a word. I bet others have gotten the notification but have just not bothered giving a heads up.
I doubt your AV security is more strict than a majority of people that frequent this site, including myself
What AV are you running?
yeah....
