while inspect something on my car friday night I managed to somehow snag my fingernail on a hose clamp to the radiator and partially tore it off

Happened to two people I know, one of them being my own father. Ouch dude, hope it heals soon! Get some pain meds! Lol Hope it never happens to me. Can never be too careful.
Been there twice - crushed a finger in a conveyer roller on a commercial dishwasher in college, and dropped a nailgun on my big toe twice in the same day. Lost the nail both times. Super gnar.

I was setting up a concert and watched someone get a HEAVY wardrobe case rolled over their hand. Dude lost 2 fingers but I found them for him and put them on some ice.
I did this back when I was about 9. I was riding my bike around in the neighborhood barefoot and rolled up a curb with my foot in the wrong position. Took my big toe nail clear off.
Oh, and come to think of it, I nearly did it again last summer while cleaning the chain on my old fixie. Luckily I kept most of the nail that time.

Paul from DB has get an even worse one, toer his big toe nail off last week, had that pic as his profile pic for a week lol

I won't disturb the OPs thread with my gruesomeness!
a few years back i managed to get my thumb sucked between the crank pully edge and water pump pulley edge, it went all the way up the the knuckle of the thumb. It was broken/split down the middle from the nail to the knuckle and the bone after the knuckle was cracked. it was squirting blood out from under the nail. It was awesome, found out my best friend gets faint when he see's blood squirting. Ill try and find the pics and upload them when i get home.
